WOMENS LOWER BODY TRAINING

Here at Strive Strength and Conditioning we want to see more women in the weights room. We want to empower all women to feel confident, strong, and excited about what your body is capable of.

You may know it as booty, butt, backside, junky in the trunk, bundah: whatever you call it, everyone’s got one and everyone’s big – at least in comparison with all the other muscles in your body. Yes, the gluteus maximus is the biggest muscle in your body, and it’s flanked and enhanced by the gluteus medius and gluteus minimus.

But despite their size, the glutes can often be criminally underused and inactive. Many of us spend long hours sitting at a desk and in a car, which means tight hip flexors, weak glute muscles and poor posture.

Here at Strive we you to have better built strong firm glutes which will not only contribute to better posture, but they can also improve your workout efficiency. When you sprint, carrying heavy duty like farmers walks, for example, a significant amount of power comes from your glute muscles powering through the floor. If these muscles are weak, you’re forced to rely more on the other lower-body muscles such as the hamstrings, quads and calves. It’s best to have all the lower-body muscles pulling their weight and working together. This means the booty needs to be strong and dominant from the back also

We are also here to encourage strong bundah for women who are pregnant, or planning to get pregnant, ensuring the glutes are active and strong can help support your pelvic floor, as well as helping lower the chance of back pain developing as your bump grows.

We design a training plan for you to achieve your exact measured body composition goals. It is designed and programmed specifically for you using your measurements and making sure it will help you achieve your specific goals

Our Strength and Conditioning training programs are designed with detailed weight to be lifted on every set of every exercise at every workout to achieve the strength target that are measured accordingly to your body composition. These programs typically involve 3-5 high intensity workouts per week. You can certainly enlist our Strength and Conditioning coaching services to learn how to perform the program to the maximum benefit. Trust us your local personal trainer won’t be able to help.

For those who want a little more attention. Our one-on-one coaching sessions are for you if you want to refine and develop your lifting technique and get personalised feedback each week. It’s also great for those that are brand new to lifting or returning from a long break who need to work on the fundamentals. Currently we have a waitlist for new personal training members, so please email us to be added to this.

This is for anyone who wants to incorporate strength training into their week. It’s the first step to getting the booty you’ve always wanted! Our semiprivate sessions have 2-4 women per appointment and are each individually programmed based on your own goals, experience level, strengths and weaknesses.

  • get specialised feedback on technique and make friends at the same time
  • increase strength, build muscle and learn proper lifting techniques
